Twitter Sauvignon Blanc Tasting - Thursday, March 4

We'll be joining Twitter friends around the world for the Sauvignon Blanc Twitter Wine Tasting this coming Thursday, March 4 from 5 - 7 p.m. All you need to participate is a Twitter account, a little time, a willingness to taste some Sauvignon Blanc and a willingness to share your thoughts. Come in to Grand Vines, taste some of the Sauv Blancs we'll have open (small tasting fee may apply) and then tweet about it, using the hash tag #SauvBlanc. If you don't have Twitter on your phone, we're working on having a computer set up in the shop for you Tweeters to use (no promises, but we're working on it). Follow all the other #SauvBlanc tweets by setting up a search column for #SauvBlanc. That's it!

There's another Twitter Wine Tasting planned on March for Washington Merlot (#WAMerlot) on Thursday, March 25 from 5 - 7 p.m. Plan on joining us for that event as well!

Special Wednesday Wine Tasting This Week!

This Wednesday (yes, that's this Wednesday), we'll be pouring (yes, at no charge) wines by winemaker Gino Cuneo. We'll be tasting his current wines from Tre Nova and library wines from the Cuneo Cellars, Cana's Feast and Bricco labels. The varietals will include Sangiovese, Bordeaux blends and Syrah.

This will be a special treat that you won't want to miss. If you know Gino's wines, you know why. If you don't know Gino's wines, here's an opportunity to be introduced to one of Oregon's most respected and talented wine makers.

The wine tasting will be offered 5 - 8 p.m.
